CultureHQ is looking for an experienced engineer with strong design sensibilities and a desire to create interfaces that are a pleasure to use.

The Engineering team at CultureHQ is building a disruptive platform to help companies attract the best talent and keep them engaged. Through the lens of employee stories, talent acquisition and employer branding leaders will paint an authentic picture of their workplace. If you are a Full-Stack Engineer who strives to go beyond what is possible in technology, we want to hear from you! You will report to the Engineering Team Lead and can be fully remote.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design and build new features into the CultureHQ interface

• Take a lead role with other engineers and designers to provide strong customer-focused experiences

• Keep our product up-to-date with the latest technologies such as React and Rails.

• Practice disciplined software engineering (e.g. automated testing, code reviews, and writing beautiful, readable code)

• Actively contribute to team and company standards

• Mentor junior team members

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong JavaScript development skills, understanding of new concepts, and proficiency in React, Angular, or other modern JS frameworks

• Extensive experience developing large-scale application software

• Have full knowledge of the DOM, new HTML5 constructs, and CSS3

• Have experience with Single Page Application development

• Keep up-to-date with the newest technologies

• Develop features and create fulfilling user experiences

• A strong understanding of, and practical experience with, web application development

• A sincere commitment to crafting readable and dependable code

• 5+ years of Computer Science and/or equivalent industry experience
